He is an alumnus of National Law University, Jodhpur, India (Batch of 2013). He has an extensive work experience in the field of commercial laws. He has worked as an in-house counsel as well as an independent litigator handling a range of cases for corporates including recovery matters, summary suits, writ petitions and execution petitions. Since July 2017, he has been exclusively working on insolvency matters post enactment of the Indian Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. He has handled independent insolvency applications and Corporate Insolvency Resolution Processes before the various adjudicating authorities and tribunals.

He has also worked with Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (the insolvency law regulator of India) in the capacity of Consultant (Law) handling all litigation filed by or against the Regulator along with extensive research on various facets of implementation of the new insolvency law. He has an elaborate list of publications, most notably on role of Insolvency Professionals under corporate and individual insolvency, corporate governance under the insolvency laws, group insolvency and investigation/monitoring of corporate frauds. He was selected to be a part of the first Indian delegation of two at the INSOL Europe Academic Conference at Copenhagen in September 2019 and has also contributed to the INSOL Europe COVID-19 Tracker with regard to the measures taken by the Indian Government in the area of insolvency law in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Presently, he is practicing independently before NCLT Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Allahabad as well as NCLAT Delhi, NCDRC, District Courts and Delhi High Court. He is actively involved in Arbitration matters, Consumer Cases, Cheque Bouncing Cases, Insolvency matters, Civil Suits and Writ Petitions, among other things.
